She was predeceased by: her husband Eddie Mason Parsley; her parents, Linwood Spicer and Bernice Spicer; her siblings, Floyd "Bubba", Tommy, Wayne, Gravatt Spicer and Barbara Ogles; and her son-in-law Scott Oertel.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Jr., Mary Ellen (Bo), Pam and Bonnie (Kirk); her grandchildren, Nicki (Briant), Bernie, Jacob (Lisa), Chuck, Ashley (Chad) and Tabatha; her great grandchild Peyton; her sister Sharon (Bubbie); and her siblings-in-law, Verna Lee, Shirley, Polly, Jean, Carrie, Jimmy (Shelia) and Buddy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gethsemane Church of Christ (5146 Mechanicsville Tpke, Mechanicsville, VA 23111). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Gethsemane Church of Christ.
