He is survived by: his wife Joy Elkins; his stepdaughter Edie Harris; his grandchildren, Nolan, Quentin Harris and Delaney Franklin; his stepson George Walker; his granddaughter Casie Sikes; his sister Hilda Epstein; his nieces and nephews, Adrienne Goldman, Loren Tran, Tracy Benoit and Ralph Epstein; and his son Edward Elkins. He is also survived by 14 great-nieces.
