She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Charles and Bertha Messersmith Mather; her husband Harry Beeson Garrett; and her sister Phyllis Smith. She is survived by: her children, Gregory Garrett of New Market, VA, Douglas Garrett of Delaware, Jeffrey Garrett (Alisa) of North Carolina, Steven Garrett of Front Royal, VA, Lisa Myers (Jeffrey) of Pennsylvania and Rebecca Young (Mike) of Woodstock; and her brother Larry Mather of Canyon Country, California. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Blue Ridge Hospice Care in memory of Lois.
