She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah G. Harvey and Staples Harvey; and her siblings, Estell, Harrison, Jackson, Frank, Arwood Harvey, Annie [Lalar] Ingram and Fanny Harvey.
She is survived by: her daughter Carla Harvey of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Jada Lambert (Ellis) of Denver, NC and Jasper Short III of Reston, VA; and her siblings, Jerry Harvey (Minnie) of Columbus, OH, Dexter Harvey (Janie) of Kingsport, TN, Ora Crouse of New River, VA, Emily [Alice] Kellum (Cornell) of Charlotte, NC, Valera Bush (Clark) of Columbus, OH and Valentina Brooks (Bill) of Kingsport, TN. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Missionary Baptist Church (7318 Manns Dr, Fairlawn, VA 24141). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Highland Memory Gardens (5555 Lee Hwy, Dublin, VA 24084).
