He is survived by: his daughters, Daveda Macklin and Belinda Smith Ashby; his siblings, Elsie Daniels, Gayle Cheeks, Alroy Perry and Bettina Sellers; and his grandchildren, Joseph Perry, Crystal Perry, Anita Smith and Joseph Macklin II. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
