She was predeceased by: her parents, James Samuels and Cora Samuels; her husband Thomas Everett; and her siblings, James Jr., Alphonso, Earl, Susie, Clara and Alberta.
She is survived by: her children, Theresa, Michelle (Roosevelt), Anthony (Cameica) and Thomas (Natasha); her grandchildren, Brianna, Deonte, Aisha (Zachary), Kamora, Tory, Jacob and Mela (Da'Juan); and her great grandchild Navarri. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Holy Tabernacle Church of Deliverance (14742 Warwick Blvd, Newport News, VA 23608). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
