She was predeceased by: her husband William Smith (Bill). She is survived by: her children, Renee Smith Jeffers, Debra Smith Doty and Whit Smith (Amy); her grandchildren, Tyler Smith (Alyssa), Shelby Steele (Travis), Andrew Doty (Allie) and Nathan Doty (Athena); her great grandchildren, Emery, Paisley Steele and Vivienne Doty; and her son-in-law Tom Doty.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Peninsula Memorial Park (12750 Warwick Blvd, Newport News, VA 23606).
