He is survived by: his children, LaNeva Swann (James), Louis E. A. Carroll, Jr. (Michelle) and George Carroll (Hope); his godchildren, Michael Braxton (Ebony), Terrance Wesley (Takela) and Quwanisha Hines-Roman (Whitney); his grandchildren, Nicholas Swann, Dominique Thompson, Eiesha Valerio, Isaiah Carroll, Kristopher Corey, Keyra Corey and Kevin Corey; his great grandchildren, Malachi Cothran, Micah Fleming, Reign Hammons and Rise Hammons; his siblings, Edith Brandt, Cyril Palmer, Sr. and Lovell Palmer; his daughter Angela Bowman; and his close friends, Agnes Coates, Doris Richardson and Ed Bowman. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
