It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas David Rapp of Newport News, Virginia, born in Rocheport, Missouri, who passed away on April 15, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Rapp and Mary Smith Rapp; his former wife Elsie; his wife Sharon Hinkle; his brother Daniel Earl Rapp; and his grandson Stephen Gowens, II.
He is survived by: his daughters, Patsy Thorpe-Gowens (Stephen Gowens) of Newport News and Ann Marie Baker of Newport News; his grandson David Breeding, Jr. (Leslie Wayne Baker, Jr.) of Newport News; his nephew James Earl Rapp (Cindy); and his niece Cindi Rapp of Kansas City. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Retired Veterans Assoc. or Survivors of Viet Nam War (Wounded Warriors).
