She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey S Lucas and Marjorie P Lucas. She is survived by: her husband James David Link; her children, Valerie Jones (Alvin) of Newport, Sylvia Duckett (Wayne) of Shawsville, Johnny Link (Bonnie) of Blacksburg and Timothy Link of Annapolis, Maryland; her great grandchildren, Adam Jones, David Duckett (Zeynep) of Christiansburg and Emily Duckett (Ignacio Aguirre); her siblings, Donald Lucas (Martha) and Linda Jones (Mike); her sisters-in-law, Beulah Epling, Jean Porterfield and Eleanor Link; her cousin Joyce Stiff; Devin, Audrey, Nate, Mason of Fredericksburg, Aiden and Alaina of Beckley. She is also survived by nephews, friends, and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in her honor and memory to Newport Rescue Squad.
