With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ferlin G. Mathews of Nokesville, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 12, 2026 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Isreal, Bertha Mathews, Wilbur and Louise Ellmore; and his sister Messell Mathews.
He is survived by: his wife Pam Mathews; his son Jacob Mathews (Alexis Farris); his parents, William P. Mathews (LuAnn) and Patricia Ellmore; his brother William Mathews (Susan); and his father-in-law Ray Kidwell.
