He is survived by: his mother Minerva Canales; his stepfather Carlos Jones; his grandmother Evelyn Velazquez; his aunts, Marisol Velazquez and Kimberly Paupaw-Evans (Reggie); his godson Victor Canales; and his godfather Edwin Velazquez (Kealijah Furman). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
