She was predeceased by: her father James E. Sandelin; her grandparents, Queenie E. Sanderlin and Peter Sanderlin; her husband Vincent Lamonte Knight; her daughters, Ashanti, Ajah Sanderlin and Latazia Taylor; her stepchildren, Zaria Knight and Britney Augson; and her grandchildren, Kevon Whitehurst, Jr. (Kj) and Dalanie Porter.
She is survived by: her mother Deborah A. Sandelin; her siblings, Theresa McCray, Anthony and Albert Sanderlin; her nieces and nephews, Tyamkea Sanderlin-Askew (Wayne), Tonya, Lawanna, LaQuisha, Latoya, Tenesha McCray, Quionne Sanderlin and Dennis Green; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Janiya, London, Aden, Kylier, Kaci and Nehemiah; her siblings-in-law, Samantha, Tammy, Cora, Jeanette, Anthony, Terrence and Ervin; Nehemiah.
