She is survived by: her husband Robert Welton Ruffins; her sons, Shaun Demont Edwards and Torin Manwell Ruffins (Tanisha); her grandson Ronnie Mayo; her siblings, Gail E. Willis (Steven), Barbara Cannady, Tamara Stevens, Paige Luster, Richard Edwards Sr. (Susan), Robert Edwards (Chris), James Wade (Margaret) and Perry Edwards (Diane); her aunts, Barbara Britt (John) and Gwendolyn Cherry (late Christopher Cherry); her niece Monica Hill Turner (Dennis); her daughter Tamekia Gray; her grandsons, Jaylen Williams, Julius Wallace and Richard Wallace; and her great grandchild Alayah Williams.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens (6329 E Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502).
