She is survived by: her children, Lawrence Matlock (Karen) of Germany, Bishop Byron Collins (Doris) of Norfolk, Virginia, Dierdre Whitfield (Ira Lee) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Dawn Collins of Norfolk, Virginia and Dorphelia Freeman (Jeffery) of Triangle, Virginia.; her grandchildren, Anthony Matlock, Toby Matlock, Johnathon Matlock, Marcus Matlock, Natosha Sturgis, Abraham Collins, Dana Tatum, Erica Whitfield, Iris Whitfield, Alexander Whitfield, Timothy Wilson, Joshua Freeman and Anjelica Collins; and her nephew Damien Gossett. She is also survived by thirty-five great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, and two great-grand grandchildren.
