He is survived by: his wife Bertha Hathaway; his daughters, Sirena Parker (James) and Marcy Green (Sean); his sister Gwen Williams (Vann); and his grandchildren, Jamesa, Jamyah, Nyasia, James Jr. and Sean Jr.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
