She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Otto Portner and Ethel Mae Old; her husband William Richardson Breeden; and her son Robert Portner Breeden. She is survived by: her children, Leigh Richardson Breeden of Naples, FL, Nancy Breeden, Merveldt (Clemens) of Governor's Harbour, Eleuthera and William Richardson Breeden, Jr. (Sheila) of Norfolk, VA; and her grandchildren, Stacie Hayes, Bobby Breeden, Valär Wilson, Meredith Versen and Bennett Reed. She is also survived by her 10 great-grandchildren and many friends.

There was no keener eye than Barbara's for a charity shop treasure.
