Benjamin Cole Olberg Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Benjamin Cole Olberg in Norfolk, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2025 at the age of 20. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandmother Bonnie Olberg; and his great-grandparents, Robert S. Dodge, Henry and Marie Terpstra. He is survived by: his parents, Jason Olberg and Christine Olberg (Terpstra) of Mt. Prospect; his brothers, Austin (Haley) of Schaumburg, Ethan of Romney and Zachary (Katelyn) of San Diego; his grandparents, Bruce Terpstra (Dee Dee), Lynn Lewandowski (Mark), Melvin Olberg (Diane) and Linda Goehringer (Arn); and his aunt Kristy. He is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, many dear relatives and friends.
Ben was very dedicated, and during covid, he would go to wrestling practice in the morning and track in the afternoon, while holding a 3. 6 GPA and being on the honor roll.
