She is survived by: her children, Denise Lindsey (Freddie) of Norfolk, VA, Evelyn "Fay" Johnson (Warren) of Norfolk, VA, Sandra "Kay" Hawkins of Norfolk, VA, Julius Hawkins (Deborah) of Virginia Beach, VA, Alonzo Hawkins (Diane) of Chesapeake, VA, Darrell Hawkins, Sr. (Annette) of Chesapeake, VA and Lawrence Hawkins Sr. (Yvonne) of Portsmouth, VA.; and her siblings, Lodena Richardson of Enfield, Willis Silver of Nash County and Roark Silver of Macon. She is also survived by Eighteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews.
