She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Herbert Bonnie; her former husband Robert Hecht; and her parents, Celia Glasser and Simcoe Glasser. She is survived by: her children, Lily Groh (Barton), Edgar "Pat" Levy (Michele) and David Levy (Susan); and her siblings, Sandra Glasser Tavss (Irving) and Izaac Glasser (Barbara). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (8100 Granby St, Norfolk, VA 23505). A reception was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Westminster Canterbury (3100 Shore Dr, Virginia Beach, VA 23451).
