On Tuesday morning, October 31, 2023 at 2:57 am, our world was forever changed when God sent. His angels to escort. His daughter Brenda Ann Moore Sansbury home. We do, June 17, 1953 is when she began her life here on earth. Born in Harlem, NY to Annie Louise Davis and the late Thomas Wilcox Sr.
Brenda has gone to Heaven to join family and friends. Preceded in death by her father Thomas Wilcox Sr, father-in-law Clarence and mother-in-law Alean Sansbury. Stepfather Willie "Bill" Davis Sr, stepbrother Willie "Junie" Davis Jr. & stepsister LaWanda Davis. As well as her six brother-in-laws Clarence Jr. "Pookie", Andrew "Tinka", Bernard, Darryl, Tyrone & Keith Sansbury.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her childhood sweetheart and husband of 46 years Leander C. Sansbury, her daughter Markeeta Y. Sansbury, her son JR Sansbury, her one & only granddaughter Kianna L. Butts. Her mother Annie Louise Davis, sister Gwendolyn Johnson, brother Thomas Wilcox Jr., stepsisters Cynthia Harvey, Karen James Cuffee. Brother-in-law Robert "Bobby" Johnson, sister-in-laws Tammy Y. Sansbury, Laverne Sansbury & Robin Sansbury-Cole.
