Brett Charles Griffin Obituary
Brett Charles Griffin, 55, of Norfolk, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021, with his sister, Sherrie Williams holding his hands and with many loved ones praying for him. Brett was born in Toledo, Ohio, and was the son of Blanche Griffin and Neil Griffin. Brett was a Master Plumber, and he was know for his exceptional craftsmanship and his generosity in helping family and friends with their plumbing needs or anything else.
He loved to party, and you would often find Brett enjoying a fine beverage with his friends and family. Brett loved NASCAR, especially watching Mark Martin, and he was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, even though several of his family members were diehard Redskins fans (or whatever you want to call them these days). Left to cherish his memory with his parents are his sisters, Sherrie Williams (Wade) of Norfolk, Debbie Tobin of Norfolk; his brothers Troy Griffin of Norfolk and Pete Griffin (Jo) of Spotsylvania, VA; his loving nieces and nephews Kevin, Sharon, Chrystal, Joseph, Kurtiss, Sarah, James, Grace, Nathan, Abigail and Rebekah and his cousins Chad, Chris, Mark and Nikki; close friends Shorty and Curtis and all the other family members and close friends.
Brett is preceded by his sister Sonnie, his grand parents Marge and Charles Griffin, and his aunt Beverly Fowler. A memorial service will be held at 4pm on Monday, March 1, 2021, at the Tidewater Chapel of Holloman-Brown, 8464 Tidewater Drive, Norfolk, Va 23518.
