He was predeceased by: his brother Stephen Margulies; and his parents, Irving Margulies and Sarah Lou Margulies. He is survived by: his wife Vivian; his children, Shelley Gordon (Marcus), Michael Margulies (Meghan), Stephen Glick (Elizabeth) and Lori Pasternak (Jake); his brothers, Dr. Alfred Margulies (Bonnie) and Richard Margulies (Karen); his sister-in-law Sharon Margulies; and his stepsister Beverlee Tiger.
In keeping with his lifelong commitment to service and compassion, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Burke's memory to the Virginia Beach Trust for Psychiatrically Challenged, Make-A-Wish-Foundation or Virginia Beach Community Trust, organizations close to his heart.
