It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Harrell McCluney Sr. of Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on December 9, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Odell W. McCluney and Edward McCluney Sr. of Norfolk, VA.; and his siblings, James, Cleveland, Arthur Jemerson and Alma M. Taylor of Hyattsville.
He is survived by: his wife Dr. Linda B. McCluney; and his siblings, Edward McCluney, Jr. of Washington, D. C., John A. McCluney of Norfolk, VA., Mattie Baynard (Norman Sr), Rev. Ethel M. Copeland, Scarlet M. Parson, Constance M. Berry, Rev. Paulette W. McCluney, Marjorie M. Allen (John) and Rose M. Dykeman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
