He is survived by: his wife Ruthie Whitaker; his daughters, Tawala Taylor (Robert), Demetre Bazemore (Steven) and Cerice Whitaker; his grandchildren, Jadyn Bazemore, Aiden Bazemore, Jordin Taylor and Kennedy Taylor; his mother-in-law Mae Roland of Lynchburg, S. C.; his sister-in-law Gloria Brunson of Bishopville, S. C; his nibling Hui Whitaker of Virginia Beach, VA; his brothers-in-law, Elijah Anderson of Hampton, VA, Willie Brunson of Bishopville, S. C., Travis Roland of Clifton, N. J., Stacey Roland of Lynchburg, S. C. and Robert Wyche (Madonna) of Greenville, S. C.; his goddaughter Ashley McPherson of Tampa, FL; and his friends, Frances McPherson of Norfolk, VA and Anthony Brown of Chesapeake, VA. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
