She is survived by: her husband John Powell; her children, Darren Clark Sr. (Bershell), Jeremy Clark and Shawn Blanchard; her grandchildren, Shontelle Fuller, Lekesh Privott (Sean), Shenelle Bundle, Diamond Davis, Jordan Sandoral (Giovanni), Jeremy Hinton, Domonique Davis (Keosha), Darren Clark Jr. (Kesley), Adriell Mayes, James Murray and Justin Johnson; and her siblings, Calvin Barnes, Iris Wright and Valerie Cowell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Berkley Chapel (120 W Berkley Ave, Norfolk, VA 23523). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
