He was predeceased by: his parents, Mose Besteda and Mae Lewis Besteda; his siblings, Jean Besteda of Biloxi, Blanche Douglas Buford of California and Walter Besteda of Wisconsin; his cousin Doris Redcross of California; his siblings' children, Kurt Douglas of California and Karen Besteda Rose of California; and his cousin Doris Gurst Harris.
He is survived by: his cousin Audrey Williams (Minnesota). He is also survived by children, but he leaves seven nephews and nieces.
With the uncertainty of the Delta and Omicron variant and the rise in COVID-19 infections in our area, Riddick. Funeral Service will be following CDC guidance and all persons are to wear a mask (regardless of vaccination status) while inside our premises and practice social distancing.
