It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deborah Humpherys (Norfolk, Virginia), who passed away on September 25, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewell Ray and Catherine Ray; her daughter Terresa Conyers; her siblings, Lorraine Williams, Diane Wilburn, Terri Lynn Pegues and Derrick Ray; and her great grandchild Ivy Conyers.

She is survived by: her children, Tony Conyers (Patricia), Virginia Beach and Alethia Conyers; her siblings, Yolonda Blackwell (Rodney), Sheila Reed-Ross (Moses), Valerie Jeffries (Ruben), Catherine Brown (John), Jewell Ray (Sarah), Sonja Sinclair (Quintin) and Ivan Ray (Lynn); her grandchildren, Denise Conyers, Toni Conyers, Chante Conyers, Ashley Conyers, Hannah Isaac, Carmella Conyers, Kennedy Conyers and Jordynn Conyers; and her great grandchildren, India Conyers, Ashton Conyers and Cali Conyers. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family.
