She was predeceased by: her husband Giovanni Antonio "Tony" Canu; and her son Mario Canu. She is survived by: her children, Vivian Caputo and Sylvio Canu (Nancy); her daughter-in-law Adele Canu; and her grandchildren, Alicia, Stefan, Bruno, Camille, Thomas, Nathan and Jessica. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and many wonderful friends, extended relatives, and caregivers.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (154 W Government Ave, Norfolk, VA 23503). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
