As Deneice departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Deneice may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Deneice leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Nellum and Maybelle Nellum; her husband Willie Arthur Lee Sr.; and her sister Rita Mitchell. She is survived by: her friend Deneice Lee; her children, Natarsha Lee of Virginia Beach and Arthur Juma Lee (Felicia) of Virginia Beach; her granddaughter Brielle Deneice Lee; and her sisters, Alfreada Brown (Victor) of Chesapeake, VA and Kathleen Campbell of Chesapeake, VA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
