He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Bonnie Jean Steele (Baker); and his daughter-in-law Heather Steele. He is survived by: his children, Jessica Geiser (Seth) of Goshen and Douglas E. Steele of Norfolk, VA; his grandchildren, Lilly Geiser and Greyson Steele; and his brother James D. Steele (Jennifer Lawson) of Rockwood, TN..
