She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertha Jernigan and Foye Newsome, Sr.; her siblings, Delores, Madeline and Foye Newsome, Jr.; and her son Tedrick.
She is survived by: her husband Bruce; her daughters, Rita and Tracy (Darryl); her sisters, Mary (Lafyette) and Patricia; and her grandchildren, Tynesha, Bradley, Brittney, Tavarius, Ashley, Marquise and Quaran. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews; her great nieces and nephews, cousins, aunties, and a host of friends.
