He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer P. Wheeler and Mary Francis Moore Wheeler; his son Patrick O. Wheeler; his siblings, Mary R. Bowden, Dorothy W. Stone, Joseph L. Wheeler (Betty) and Stephen R. Wheeler (Betty); and his sister-in-law Patsy Wheeler.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Woodard; his children, Edward Keith Wheeler (Gisella) of Avon Park, FL, Jeanette M Wheeler-Gold of Virginia Beach, VA, Kelly M. Pearson of Norfolk, VA, Michele Farmerie of Virginia Beach, VA and Lisa Cardell of Chesapeake, VA; and his brother Elmer P Wheeler (Buddy) of Norfolk, VA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, 11 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
