She was predeceased by: her parents, Louise Campbell Sams and Harry Sams; her husband Reverend James T. Daniels; her siblings, Charlotte, Agatha and Louis Sams; and her nephews, Lindell and Ronnie of Texas.
She is survived by: her nephews, Michael Lewis (La Shana) of Aurora, CO and Lee Sullivan (Angela) of Indiana; her niece Theresa Young (John) of Rice Boro, GA; her great-nephews, Michael Lewis Jr., Jordin Lewis, Marquis Young, John Young Jr. and Shawn Sullivan; her nieces, Loretta Sams, Vernetta Walker, Cordette Stevens and Tedra Sullivan; and her friends, John and Rosa Owens.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor her memory would make donations to NSU (Etherine Harding Scholarship) or King Daughters Children Hospital of Norfolk, VA.
