She was predeceased by: her parents, Mamie Collins Meekins and John Douglas Meekins; her husband Edward Roland Elliott; and her daughter Edwina Renee Elliott. She is survived by: her daughter Ermelle Regina Elliott Smith of Leonardtown, MD; her grandchildren, Carl F. Ellis III of Chattanooga, TN, Reginald A. Smith of Leonardtown, MD, Elliott J. Smith of Leonardtown, MD, Jeremiah D. Smith of Leonardtown, MD and Nicole R. Ellis of St. Louis, MO; her great grandchild Sunny Ellis of Chattanooga, TN; and her sibling's children, Carolyn Gallop and John Meekins (Ernestine) of Newport News, VA. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
