He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Armstrong and Willie Armstrong, Sr.; his son Barry Armstrong; and his siblings, Willie Armstrong, Jr., Stanley Armstrong, Ora Hinton, Lena Malone and Juanita Easley.
He is survived by: his children, Eugene Armstrong, Jr. of Chesapeake, Noland Armstrong (Janae) of Virginia Beach, J'kwon Harvey of Chesapeake, Susan Mitchell of Jacksonville, FL, Ebony Claud (Lovell) of Virginia Beach, Kelly White (Michael) of Key West, FL, Jazmine Harvey and Rashena Harvey; and his siblings, Maude Armstrong of Temple Hills, MD and Howard Armstrong (Rita) of San Antonio, TX.
Viewing was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Metropolitan Funeral Service (7246 Granby St, Norfolk, VA 23505). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
