He was predeceased by: his father Jeremiah Easterling; his son Eugene Black IV; his grandmothers, Maggie Felton and Lena Drummond; his brother Richard Black; his mother-in-law Lillie Milsap; and his siblings-in-law, Arthur Ray Ledbetter, Allen J. Milsap and Betty Carney.
He is survived by: his mother Pearl Black-Oliver; his wife Mattie Black; and his children, Eugenia Butler (Andre) and Catrina Easterling. He is also survived by 2 sisters and 2 brothers; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, bowling friends and family.
