She was predeceased by: her mother Pearl Miller; her stepfather Wilbert Miller (Pearl Miller); her children, Morning Star Johnson and Nicholas Lewis; and her siblings, Lula Gray and Richard Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Johnson, Rozitor Johnson-Lee, Hope Newsome and Remedois Jackson; and her close friend Pat Hodges. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
