He was predeceased by: his parents, Fortune Williams, Sr. and Tommie Moody Williams; and his brothers, Eddie B. Williams, David Williams and Cleveland Williams.

He is survived by: his wife Mildred Williams; his children, Nicole Williams, Marqui Williams of Virginia Beach and Charlie Brown Williams; and his grandson Taeshawn Patterson. He is also survived by sisters, and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
