He was predeceased by: his wife Bessie K. Pappas; his daughter Melanie P. Georges; his sister Athena P. Griffith (Russ); his former wife Lillian Hardison Pappas; and his parents, John Pappas and Frosa Pappas.
He is survived by: his daughter Christina (Tony); his granddaughter Anastasia Georges (Andy); his great grandchildren, Sonny and Leni; his brothers, Gregory (Stella) and Pete (Nancy); and his children, Demetrios and Eleni. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
