She is survived by: her daughter Carrie Haynes King; her siblings, Geneva Frances Prevatte Morgan of Elizabeth City and Carl Shelor Prevatte (Jackie Rainey) of Chesapeake, Virginia; her nieces, Kimberly Chappell (Calvin, Jr.) of Kitty Hawk, Debi Prevatte Asbell of Tyner and Carla Prevatte Gore (Rick); her nephew Earl Ray Morgan, Jr. (Kathleen) of Elizabeth City; her caregiver Pat Murry of Norfolk, Virginia; and her close friend Tommy King of Tennessee.
