She was predeceased by: her parents, James Elvin Epps, Sr. (Evelyn) and Evelyn Beatrice Stubbs-Epps; Preston Maurice Epps, Sr.. She is survived by: her son David Randolph Pharr; her grandchildren, Mekyla Pharr, David R. Pharr, Jr. and Lorenzo A. Pharr; and her siblings, Jacquelyn Elizabeth Epps-Scott, James Elvin Epps, Jr., Evelyn Denise Epps-Terry, Gerald-Keith Epps (Rosemary), Helyn Carla Epps-Nixon, Shelia Renee Epps-Stepney, Audrey Marie Epps and Constance Michele Epps. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Another of her passions was being a member of the NSU Athletic Foundation.
