He was predeceased by: his father Deacon John Thomas Goode; and his siblings, John "Tommy" Goode, Dorothy Vinson (Stanford), Junius Goode (Judy), Mary Branch (Alfonza), Nettie Manley (George), Helen Jordan (Johnnie) and Wilson Goode (Evelyn).
He is survived by: his children, Cecily Goode, Jacquetta Goode, Latosha (Goode), Okam and Jack Edward Goode Jr.; his grandchildren, Yiyara, Ahviel, Yahkin, Zahvdi, Jazae, Gianna and Jaxon; and his siblings, Bertha, William (late Hattie), Matthew (Martha), Katherine (William Walden) and Robert Earl (Carol). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
