She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Bell Lowery and Joseph Riddick. She is survived by: her husband Archie L. Armstrong; her children, Carolyn Porter (Darryl), Ernest Wilkins (Keyosha) and Emmett Lamb; her stepchildren, Victor and Sedhari; and her grandchildren, Darryl Jr., Aaron (Jasmine), Ciarra (Phillip), Joseph, Shanica, Bryana and Sherrale (Kendall). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Riddick Funeral Service (1225 Norview Ave, Norfolk, VA 23513). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the New Mount Olive Baptist Church.
