With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James A. Parrish (Norfolk, Virginia), who passed away on August 14, 2023 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Garland and Marie Haskins Parrish; his uncles, Robert L. Parrish and Charlie Haskins, Jr.; and his aunt Helen Haskins.
He is survived by: his wife Dionne D. Parrish; his aunts, Mary Urquhart, Alma Nelson (McDonald) and Margaret Mosley (Willie); his niece Gabriella Foreman; his mother-in-law Aldred Foreman Sr.; and his brother-in-law Aldred Foreman Jr. (Taletha). He is also survived by friend and former co-worker, David Guard, his church family, and a host of other loving cousins and friends.
