It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Hinshaw of Norfolk, Virginia, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on January 18, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Marcellus Hinshaw and Stella Money Hinshaw. He is survived by: his son David (Katey); his wife Evelyn; his son John (Julia); his grandchildren, Anna, Gordon, Grant and Brandon; his daughter Joy (Byron); his grandchildren, Matthew and Gracelyn; his great grandchild Kieran; and his granddaughter Elizabeth (Greg). He is also survived by his three children, seven grandchildren, and one great grandson.
