He is survived by: his wife Joan Cowan; his children, John Luke, Tina Cowan and Joanna Cowan; his son-in-law Wayne Phillips; his sister Ina Rae Parks; his sister-in-law Martha Ann Turpin; his nephew Orion Turpin; his grandchildren, Kettren Wyatt (Jesse), Sean "Alex" Mansfield and Ashley Skinner; and his great grandchildren, Owen and Forrest.
