He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Finney and Tassie Ames Finney; and his siblings, Dorothy, Julia, Lennell, Ernest and Mae Finney.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Alston Finney; and his children, John "Fitz" Fitzgerald Finney and Jacqueline "Jackie" Finney Mullins. He is also survived by siblings-in-love, cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
