She was predeceased by: her mother Patty Green; her husband Eugene Smith; her siblings, Louise Russell, Catherine Ware, James and Eugene Gatling; her great grandchild Kennedy Grimstead; her nephews, Redell Deloatch, Thomas Walkup and Michael Foster; and her sisters-in-law, Lillie Gatling, Virginia Smith and Rebecca Anthony.
She is survived by: her daughters, Phyllis Grimstead (Wardell), Brenda Ransom and Shelia Smith; her grandsons, Terry Grimstead (Jasmine) and Kelly Grimstead; her great grandchildren, Queen Knight, Kaylee, Sydney, Nicholas, Jaxson and Mason Grimstead; her great great grandchild Levi Knight; and her nieces, Adell Walkup, Linda Chavis and Diane Collins. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
