He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer M Erickson and Elizabeth Mary (Nelson); his wife Sylvia N Stevens; and his siblings, Donald Erickson (Lorraine), Patricia Jirschele (Neil) and Phyllis Erickson.

He is survived by: his children, Nick Erickson Sr. (Kelly), Joseph J. Erickson and Cindy Steinke (Randy Furger); his grandchildren, Nick Erickson Jr. (Nichole Sullivan), Sara Erickson, Jen Folz (Matt), Samantha Dedeyne (Rick) and Gary Steinke; his great grandchildren, Brynn Krueger and Emma Folz; and his sister Vanessa Ruble (Teddy). He is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.
